Lioni 'Leo' Velasquez is one of the original students of Dr.
Phillip Chenique, founder of Atemi Ryu Jujitsu. Grand Master
Lioni Velasquez has been a martial arts practitioner for more
than 30 years.
He is a certified instructor in many martial arts traditions
including a 10th Degree Blackbelt in Atemi Ryu Jujitsu, 5th
Degree in Chendokan Aikido, 5th Degree in Atemi-Arnis Jutsu,
5th Degree Vee-Jitsu Ditsu and Vee-Jitsu, 4th Degree in
Sogetsu Kenjitsu, 3rd Degree in Shotokan Karate, and 1st
Degree in Judo. He studied directly with many great modern
masters of martial arts including Moses Powell and Professor
Florendo M. Visitacion.
He has hosted martial arts seminars around the world for many
organizations inlcuding the German Aikido Federation, and the
82nd Airborne, and many more. He is certified in Rape
Prevention as well as other specialized areas of Martial Arts.
